About Me

Running has always been a defining part of my life. I started competing at 15, where I discovered my passion for middle-distance track events. Later, I found my stride in Cross-Country, and this love carried me to the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where I ran track and Cross-Country at the collegiate level.

After college, I stayed in Nebraska, diving into road races while exploring new ways to challenge myself. This journey led me to CrossFit, where I competed passionately for over a decade. CrossFit not only built my strength but also reinforced my love for pushing limits and achieving what seemed just out of reach.

When I moved to Colorado, my perspective on the outdoors completely transformed. I fell in love with the mountains and set out to summit the state’s iconic 14ers—completing 40 so far. The rugged trails reignited my passion for running, and trail running quickly became my new obsession. I’ve since completed the Pikes Peak Ascent five times and the Garden to Peak three times, but my most significant accomplishment to date was finishing the Leadville 100—a life-changing experience that deepened my connection to the ultra-running community.

Beyond running, I’m married to my amazing husband, Preston, who shares my passion for fitness and adventure. He runs the Purple Mountain Throwdown, a large CrossFit competition held annually in Colorado Springs. Together, we share a love for our dogs and spend as much time as possible exploring the outdoors.

Running has given me so much—mentorship, resilience, and a sense of belonging—thanks to my incredible coaches, both past and present. Now, I’m inspired to give back to the running community by helping others chase audacious goals. Whether it’s a first ultra or a big, wild dream, I’m here to guide and support others in achieving what they once thought impossible.
